| As I sit here at my computer I think to my self, "Be still and know that I am God” Psalms 46:10 and I write.
Dear Almighty God,
I come to You today as a humble child bowing at the feet of your thrown. You Lord, God are a magnificent and glorious God. God you are infinite and eternal, full of mercy and grace. And Each step I take I know that You are right beside me holding my hand, and with each rut I fall into Lord, I know I can tug on Your hand and You will pull me up.
Lord, I come before You asking You to bless me with wisdom as I study Your Word, so that I will not be blind to the lessons I need to learn. Help me also to use that wisdom to make decisions that will not cause me sadness in the future, but rather build me up in the riches of Your magnificent glory. I pray I will remember Your word when I fall short of your glory. That I will learn your lessons well and use them to grow for Your kingdom. Lord you are “My refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.” Psalm 91:4
And when I am ready according to Your standard, please show me a Godly man who will love me as Jesus Christ loved his disciples. I pray that he will be well prepared to share and grow with me in your love. That he will be compassionate and fully committed to the gospel of Jesus Christ, and to me. I ask You to help me to reach a level of Christian maturity that will allow me to see a wrong full mate - who means me no good a mile away. And I understand that seeking Your kingdom must be my primary goal at all times, and only then will I have the things I desire.
And I thank You, God, and praise You to the highest because you have blessed me all of my days. Even though I stand without a mate, I am not alone and therefore not at all single. I can rejoice in what I have or have not, because I am saved and forgiven from sin. So now, I can wait patiently each day by being blessed by the Lord Jesus Christ.
I surrender my life to You. I give you all of me.

...when you think about the future; am i in it?
...I wonder how much I matter to you? |
